Give Generously
Fundraising & Projects
From building homes to feeding families — every project below is made possible by the generosity of the Worcester community.
Ongoing Relief
Weekly Feeding Scheme
Every week, WIS provides meals to families and individuals facing hardship in the Worcester community. This ongoing programme relies entirely on the generosity of local donors and volunteers, and remains a lifeline for many deserving households throughout the year.
Community Service
Maqbarah Clean-Up Projects
WIS organises regular clean-up drives at the local Maqbarah (cemetery), maintaining it as a place of dignity and respect for those who have passed on. These projects bring together volunteers of all ages, reflecting our collective responsibility toward the deceased and their families.
Annual Programme
Qurbaan Projects
Each year during Eid-ul-Adha, WIS coordinates the collection and distribution of Qurbaan meat from local donors, ensuring deserving families across the Worcester community share in the blessings of this Sunnah. The Zakaah committee oversees the process to ensure it reaches those most in need.
Building Project
Imaamat Housing Project
WIS is raising funds to build permanent accommodation for our resident Imaam — a lasting investment in the spiritual leadership and future of our community. A stable home for our Imaam allows him to serve the Worcester community fully, without the burden of temporary or uncertain housing. Every contribution, big or small, brings us closer to completing this amanah.
